Becca is a lively four-year-old who lives with her parents, siblings, grandparents, and assorted other family members in the Rocky Mountain region of the western US. She loves to eat, but her diet is a daily challenge to maintain. Becca is dairy and gluten intolerant (tests are forthcoming to confirm/rule-out a diagnosis of celiac disease). She is also allergic to peanuts.
Two of Becca's siblings have severe food allergies. Her older brother is allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, strawberries, kiwi, and dogs all with full anaphylactic reaction. Becca's baby sister is allergic to caseine--a protein in dairy.
Becca has her own blog for many reasons. She needs to keep a food diary to watch for reactions and patterns, and there can never be enough resources for food ideas when you have multiple food allergies and intolerances. She hopes there are lots of readers out there with good recipes and creative ideas for surviving meal time!
